Annetta

Here is Annetta. My great-great grandmother. My link to this Hansen family. She was born on July 25, 1901 in Brigham City, Utah. The post earlier had a picture of a page in a book that said Annetta lived with a relative in town so that she could go to school while her parents farmed out in the country. In the 1910 US Utah Census, the census taker wrote her name as Annettie. This must have been her nickname growing up in Utah. She was married to James Fredrickson on January 3, 1917. Only 15 and a half years old! They were married in Brigham City. Their first child, Vera (my grandmother) was born on October 15, 1918. She then had 7 more children. In order: Vera,Ida, Lillis, Lois, Glen, Barbara, Roy and Clyde. Here is a picture of all the children and parents, in order from oldest to youngest.

Here is a picture of the children all grown up, minus Lillis. She died in a car crash before this picture was taken.

When she became a grandmother, she was known as Grandma Freddy. She died on January 3, 1979 at the age of 78.
