Alfred

I don't know much about Alfred. I do know that he was born on May 3, 1896 in Brigham City, Utah. He was the first child of six. That was all I knew about Alfred until I started searching more on just specifically him. I found out he was married to Helen Elizabeth Reeves on June 1, 1924. Then I found another woman he was married to: Ola Faye Hixson. They were married on June 29, 1936. Helen must have died in order for Alfred to marry Ola. Ola was alive when Alfred died on December 13, 1967 in Bend, Oregon. He was 71 years old at death.

Part of doing genealogy is realizing that people often make mistakes. They don't always spell a name right, or enter a date correctly. While I was searching on Ancestry.com (a great resource, except it costs money, but luckily BYU pays for us to be able to use it for free!) I found the 1910 Census in Brigham City, Utah. Alfred was spelled ALFORD. This helped a lot in finding more information on Alfred and his wives that I didn't know existed.
